Tournament Information

Welcome to the 2024 Stephen MacDermid Memorial Hockey Tournament  

Dates: February 23rd - February 25th, 2024
Where: Baddeck Arena, Baddeck, Nova Scotia
Divisions: Mens & Women's Divisions
Fee: $60 per player. Every year our keepsakes feature a custom logo design.

In its tenth year, the tournament is still young and growing.  We want to ensure you have an amazing hockey experience so please let us know if there is anything you need.  Some basic information is provided below for each division and the tournament and related events.

Friday, February 23rd 2024 night at the Family Skating Event & Men's Registration 6:00pm Baddeck Arena
Come see the great prizes and buy tickets. Throughout the weekend, we will hold 50/50 draws.
Men's on-site registration will start after family skate. Please also consider registering in advance.

Saturday, February 24th, 2024
Players arrive at the rink by 8:00am to complete the registration process.  Even if you have registered already, you need to be at the rink by 10:00am.  Teams will be posted and schedules will be provided at 9:00am.

Hockey games start at 10:00am.  Games will alternate between Men's and Women's division.  Hospitality Room and Bar available.  Live Entertainment upstairs for those who enjoy a little music while they watch hockey.

Sunday, February 25th, 2024
Games resume at 9:00am  Cross-Overs and Playoffs.  Prizes Awarded and Raffles will be Drawn.  
Wrap up and Thank You and we all go on our way until this time again next year.
